Top 10 Best Selling Cars of July 2011, Camry takes back best-selling car

Cars.com have just come out with their latest statistics for the top 10 best-selling cars as of July 2011. The list shouldn’t come to much of a surprise if you’re familiar with the industry.

The Ford F-Series trucks takes the cake as being the number one best selling car as of July 2010, though the Ford F-Series has been the best-selling vehicle in the US for about 24 years now.

The Chevrolet Silverado takes second place, while the Toyota Camry rings in at third. It should be noted however that sales for both the Chevy and the Ford have decreased slightly, most likely in wake of fluctuating gas prices.

The Toyota Camry however takes the biggest hit as sales were found to have dropped 20% in terms of monthly change from last year’s figures. I’m sure the height in recalls, the controversy with the “unintended acceleration,” and drop in build quality have something to do with this change.
