With the new Fiat 500 hitting showrooms all over the US, Fiat has just commissioned Scagliarini Motorsports of Colorado to build a special edition 500 designed by famous design firm, Zagato.

Called the Scagliarini 504 Coupe Zagato Elaborata, the new 500 features a more streamlined body and a rear ¾ panel window delete. Also included is a 1.4L MultiAir turbocharged four-banger, the same found in the European Fiat 500 Abarth. That means 180-hp, which is channeled through a 5-speed manual cog swapper.

“We took the FIAT 500 Coupe Zagato, filled the rear windows, introduced an Abarth 500 chassis, and added allwheel drive. The Scagliarini 500czè is body, mind and spirit,” said Scagliarini Motorsports Managing Director Michael Salvarani.

Other additions include extensive use of carbon fiber throughout the body and the interior, a safety roll cage, Alcantara Abarth Corse sport seats, and much more.

Suspension has been reworked too, featuring Koni shocks and Abarth EsseEssse lowering springs, Brembo GranTurismo brakes, and special Abarth 17” wheels by OZ Racing. You can also opt for a Scagliarinni 500awd all-wheel drive with a locking differential.
