Porsche sources have confirmed with CAR Magazine that the company will launch a long-wheelbase Panamera early next year. The long-wheelbase Porsche Panamera will get a 150mm wheelbase extension that will free up more room for rear-seat riders.

Of course the Porsche Panamera long-wheelbase will be popular in China, where long-wheelbase versions of the BMW 7-Series and Audi A8 are very popular.

Insiders in Stuttgart say that the Porsche Panamera sedan will undergo a “comprehensive” facelift in 2013 to keep the model fresh.
