Between German luxury brands, the BMW brand itself outsold rivals Audi and Mercedes-Benz in June 2011 with a total of 134,432 units sold, an increase of 12.3 percent over 2010 figures.
Audi, which saw June sales increase to 19 percent, sold 117,650 units, while Mercedes-Benz sold a record 120,510 units, an increase of 6.4 percent from the same period a year ago.
During the first six months of 2011, BMW sold a total of 689,861 units on a global level, while Audi sold 652,950 units and Mercedes-Benz sold 610,531 units.
If you take into all BMW Group brands (BMW, Mini and Rolls Royce), the group sold a total of 165,855 units in June and 833,366 units in the first six months of 2011.
