Volvo joins forces with Heico, Polestar for S60 Performance Project

Volvo S60 Performance Project

In conjunction with Polestar and Heico, Volvo Car Australia has just released the S60 T6, a performance version of the S60 sedan, known as the Volvo S60 Performance Project.

Polestar, Volvo’s racing division, provides the power modifications, kicking it up to 325-hp and increasing the torque.

“The S60 T6 already boasts excellent performance credentials and the S60 Performance Project takes that even further,” saidVolvo Car Australia Managing Director Matt Braid. “With the extra power, torque and unique wheels and exhaust system the S60 Performance Project really is a very special edition S60.”

On the outside the Volvo S60 Performance Project gets fitted with some unique 19 inch wheels, provided by Heico, that are wrapped in Pirelli tires. Heico also upgraded the exhaust system, giving the car an even nicer sound. The interior is the same as the R Design. This includes a leather wrapped steering wheel, blue lighting details, aluminum pedals, and sports seats.

The S60 Performance Project also comes equipped with a sports suspension, stiffened by springs and bushings, and a 15mm overall drop.

Currently, the S60 Performance Project is still being reviewed by Volvo Car Australia, and may see limited release.
