We recently heard about some vehicles that Infiniti is working on over the next five years. One of the most interesting models we think will be the an Audi A3 rival. The car is a part of a global product blitz to build Infiniti’s lineup to 10 vehicles from seven by 2017.
The model will be based on the Etherea concept that was shown at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show in March, according to a source familiar with the plan.
We’re hoping that Infiniti won’t go the electric or hybrid route with this compact A3 rival. Instead, we’re crossing our fingers for a nice turbo 4-cylinder or even a V6.
