Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition laps Nordschleife 7:22.85

The 2012 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and the Corvette Z06 have both been eating up headlines about Nurburgring lap times. Well, right before this past weekend’s 35th annual Nurburgring 24 Hour Race, Lexus took its LFA Nurburgring Edition for a run around the Nordschleife.

The time set by the Nissan GT-R in Oct.2010 was a 2011-model, not the 2012-model.
With the added HP and faster acceleration, the 2012-model should be able to cut at least 2.5 or 3 seconds of the time of the 2011-model, which it would place them 6th in your partial list above. Time will tell…

On Wikipedia one can find the full list, without the omitted Donkervoorts, etc. I don’t understand why these are missing, while some other cars that can’t be purchased in the US (anymore) are included.
