Over the weekend, we discovered the pricing of the new 2012 BMW M5 will start at £73,040 ($118,306 USD) in the United Kingdom. While we still wait for BMW to release U.S. pricing, the automaker has released a nice little color configurator shows all the possible combinations you can add to the 2012 M5.
A full configuartor will be launched along with pricing for the U.S. early next year.

From the color configurator you can see that exterior colors on the new M5 will include: Black Sapphire Metallic, Havanna Metallic, Silverstone II Metallic, Space Gray Metallic, Singapur Grau Metallic, Imperial Blue Brilliant and Monte Carlo Blau. Interior color choices include Sliverstone/Black Merino, Sakhir Orange/Black Merino, Black Merino with trims coming in Fine-wood Trim Ash Grain Brown, Fine-wood Trim ‘Fineline’ Anthracite and Aluminum ‘Trace.’

Refresher: The 2012 BMW M5 is powered by a 4.4L V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo (consisting of Twin Scroll Twin Turbo Technology) making 560-hp between 6,000 and 7,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 502 lb-ft from 1,500 rpm. Mated to a 7-speed M Double Clutch Transmission Drivelogic (with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters), the 2012 BMW M5 goes from 0 to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds, 0 to 124 mph in 13 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph or 190 mph with M Driver’s Package.
