Ford Mustang Giugiaro Concept

Ford will be celebrating its Mustang’s upcoming 50th birthday in 2014 in a big way. They are sending it across seas to the UK, and other locations around the world. To accommodate the varying standards for international vehicles, this will also mark its first right-hand drive version.

To suit its audience, the Ford Mustang will be modified for European buyers, but will still maintain its character. UK buyers can satisfy their need for speed with available V8 models, as well.

Focusing on an all new ‘One Ford’ marketing plan, Ford is making efforts to bring down costs by lowering the amount of models produced worldwide. The model being sent to the UK is park of the projects’ kick off. They are looking to use one in multiple markets, like the Focus, Mondeo, and Fiesta already do.
