Video: 2012 BMW M5 undergoing high-speed testing at Nardo Ring

A little bit before its M Festival debut, BMW is teasing the new M5 in this new video where the show the new sports sedan undergoing high-speed testing at the Nardo Ring in the south of Italy. Of course, this is one of the most important (and most exciting) test in the BMW M5’s development program.

We really can’t wait until the 2012 BMW M5 is revealed, but it seems like the teasing will just continue for the rest of the year before the production model’s debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

BMW has already confirmed that the 2012 BMW M5 will be powered by a 4.4L twin-turbo V8 featuring TwinPower Turbo Technology. The engine is reported to produce north of 580-hp while reducing fuel-consumption and emissions by 25 percent.
