Nissan announces leadership changes to its Americas division

Nissan announced some changes to its senior leadership team yesterday that will probably make no difference to you as a car shopper or as an enthusiast. Colin Dodge, who is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Performance Officer for Nissan globally and Chairman of the AMIE region (comprising Africa, Middle East, India and Europe) will take on the additional responsibility as Chairman of the Americas region (consisting North, Central and South America).

This change is effective June 13 and in his role as Chairman of the Americas, Colin is succeeding Carlos Tavares who will become the Chief Operating Officer of Renault.

Nissan also announced the appointment of Bill Krueger as vice chairman, Nissan Americas, also effective June 13. In this newly formed role Krueger will work closely with Colin Dodge Krueger will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Nissan Americas’ business in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil and 37 other Latin American and Caribbean countries.
