BMW i8 Vision EfficientDynamics Commercial

BMW has released a new commercial called ‘Innovations,’ which features the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics, the production version of which will be know as the BMW i8.

The BMW i8 will be a fuel-efficient supercar, which will go from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.8 seconds, while averaging an estimated fuel-economy of 63 mpg and 31 miles of zero-emissions driving. Sales of the BMW i8 will start in 2013, following the debut of the BMW i3.

Refresher: Power for the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics prototype comes from a 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo diesel engine mated to a hybrid synchronous motor at the front axle and a full-hybrid engine at the rear axle. Jointly the system will produce an output of 328-hp. 0-62 mph comes in just 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph. Fuel-economy is estimated at 63 mpg and the concept can provide 31 miles of zero-emissions driving. The production version of the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics will be known as the BMW i8 go on sale in 2013.

    No way that’s a dream car >:( that’s not very good at all. Sure it’s got gas mileage but that’s all that things got going for it. 4 seconds to get to 60 mph???? That’s shitty!!!! Top speed of 155 mph??? Even shittier!!!! 1.5 L 3-cylinder engine? That’s a lawn mower -.- that car has no performance, no power, no nothing!!!! Yeah it looks nice and yeah the commercial made it look fast, but it’s a piece of shit to shut people up. Only good thing that has is it’s gas mileage, other than that, that is no dream car. No real car lover would ever be seen in that
