Toyota Prius V

What do you call a single Prius? A Toyota Prius. What do you call a family of Toyota Priuses? Toyota Prii. To that end, Toyota is considering another Prius model that would carry three rows of seats.

The three-row Toyota Prius will be a different model then the 5-seat Toyota Prius V, which will go on sale in the United States starting this fall. The new potential Prius model would be large enough to transport seven people as well as their belongings, said Bob Carter, Toyota Division general manager. Carter said that “there is nothing in the hopper” regarding the proposed 7-seat Prius, however, he said the concept is being seriously studied.

In early 2012, Toyota will launch two new Prii family members including the Prius C compact and the Prius plug-in hybrid.

Toyota wants to sell 1 million hybrid models a year.

The 2012 Toyota Prius V will be powered by a similar setup as the standard Prius and will deliver an estimated EPA fuel economy of 42/38 mpg (city/highway) and 40 mpg combined.

They are all pretty much the same you will find but i found the best deals were to get one when you are there rather than pre-booking. The larger companies think nothing of one way hire and airport to another airport works well.
Never done that drive, yet, but it is one on my list. A bike would be better for me though.
