Not that this will make any difference to your life as an enthusiasts, but Porsche is reportedly moving its North American headquarters from a suburb north of Atlanta to the demolished FoMoCo assembly plant where the Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable were once built.
According to a report by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Porsche will make an official announcement on Thursday.
Sources said that Porsche plans on building a new headquarters building and a test track at the site in Hapeville, Ga. The track is expected to be a similar one that Porsche has in Silverstone, England.
Porsche has about 200 employees at its current office in Sand Springs, Ga.
