What is this and why does it look different than the beautiful, head-turning A-Class we’ve come to know in the past few months? Well, that’s because these are the leaked patent renderings of the production model that will debut sometime next year.

The leaked patent images ended up making their way on Belgian automotive blog AutoScoops.de and show a much more refined version of the A-Class when compared to the Concept A we saw at the 2011 New York Auto Show.

Disappointed it doesn’t look like the concept? So are we.
