Here is some recalling news for you on hump-day. General Motors has announced that it is recalling more than 4,500 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon pickups because nuts in the windshield wipers may not have been tightened properly. The recall consists of 2011 Colorado and Canyon models that were built form last September to early November of 2010.
GM said that if a nut in the wiper’s motor crank arm were too loose, the wiper won’t work if there were a build-up of snow or ice. It said that the nut could also loosen if the wiper was operated on a dry windshield.
