Welcome to our third ‘Let’s Talk Numbers’ where we take two or more vehicles and do a straight number battle and leave it up to our visitors to decide which is a better buy. This is always a tough one to call… while the BMW M3 set the benchmark for everyone in this segment. Cadillac has not only come close but (im afraid to say it) …. topped it

I’m the other way around.. i feel like i would get yelled at here if i said BMW M3 over the Caddy

it quicker than the m3 & old m6 — just the fact

I’ve always loved the design of the M3 and the additional appearance it has over the standard 3 series, but the new CTS-V Coupe has a design that is breathtaking and while contrasting to the M3, I think the V series has an overall better design. It is much harder lines and angles that I believe are inherent to the American muscle car. The M3 certainly sets a presedent with its overall performance and Cadillac decided to far exceed it.

Have you ever tried to open the electric door locks of a corvette or other GM product if the battery fails? This was the problem of the show car at a major car show. The GM guys said it can’t be done. Same with this car. Great engine, intriguing styling, spunky character all good for Caddy, just sort out the details (maybe poach the Audi engineer who sorted Lamborghini out).
As for the M3, is a great, great car. And cheaper too.
    No losers here.
