First look at what’s going on with the Veritas Coupe

Veritas, the maker of the RS III supercar, has previously said that it is planning a coupe RS III and SUV model to expand its lineup. The company is now providing the first renderings of the forthcoming coupe, which clearly carries on the ‘out there’ styling direction from the RS III.

We’re not sure when the Veritas Coupe will enter production but we don’t think it’s a long way off judging by these images obtained by CarAdvice. What we do know is, it’s going to be one hell of a looking car.

Power for the Veritas Coupe is not expected to come from the 4.0L V8 making 480-hp or the 500-hp 5.0L V10 from the BMW M5/M6. Instead, the model will use the X6 M or X5 M’s twin-turbo 4.4L V8 engine making 555-hp.

We’re pretty excited. How about you?
