Report: Electric Mercedes-Benz S-Class not ruled out

According to Thomas Weber, Mercedes-Benz’s technical boss, a full electric version of the next-generation S-Class sedan has not been ruled out.

“At the moment, we are looking at customer demand,” Weber said. Weber confirmed that the next-geneation Mercedes-Benz S-Class will have a hybrid and plug-in hybrid version.

Design wise, the next-generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class will carry over no interior design from existing model. Most of the next-generation S-Class will be influenced by the Mercedes-Benz F800 Style Concept – inside out. It will also feature a bunch of new interior technologies that should excite you tech-savvy geeks.
