It’s not as if the Honda CR-V is a struggling model for the Japanese brand but the company feels it could use some upgrading. According to sources, a new Honda CR-V will be unveiled later this year as a 2012 model.
No word on the upgrades that the Toyota RAV4 competitor will come with, but we don’t see a major redesign happening. What we do see happening is a major improvement in fuel-economy without Honda increasing any performance. It’ll be subtle upgrade that will help Honda sell more of the compact SUV.
In March 2011, Honda sold a total of 22,000 CR-Vs – and that’s pretty impressive.
