At the 2011 New York Auto Show, Ford unveiled the 2013 Taurus and Taurus SHO. Apparently, the debut of the new Taurus had some folks wondering if the upcoming Ford Police Interceptor Sedan, which is based on the Taurus, will also see the upgrades. Well, it just might.
A top Ford official said that the Taurus isn’t planned to take over the Crown Victoria until it dies, so the new 2013 Taurus may be following you in your rear-view-mirror since few police agencies have ordered them and since deliveries aren’t scheduled to begin later this year.
