Ferrari to sell 8,000 units a year within 8 years

According to Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo, the company plans on selling 8,000 units a year within 8 years.
“A lot depends on India, Latin America and China. There is growth potential there,” Montezemolo told Auto Motor und Sport in an interview.
He said that sales this year will reach a record level of 6,800-7,000 vehicles, depending on how the market develops in Japan. Ferrari sells 400 cars a year Japan. In China alone, Ferrari expects to sell 500 cars in 2011.
“China will be our third-biggest market after America and Germany at the end of 2011,” Montezemolo said.
