2012 Nissan Tiida

At the 2011 Shanghai Motor Show today, Nissan introduced the new 2012 Tiida hatchback for the Chinese market, the world’s fastest-growing major car market. The new 2012 Nissan Tiida is expected to lead to sales of 300,000 units annually by 2014 in some 130 countries. Nissan sold a solid 85,000 units in China last year making it the best-selling model in the current Nissan global product lineup.

The 2012 Nissan Tiida hatchback model is said to have the best-in-class fuel efficiency and a continuously variable transmission.

The 2012 Nissan Tiida will be followed by the debut of the Nissan Versa sedan at the 2011 New York Auto Show.

The Tiida will be produced at the Dongfeng Nissan Huadu factory in Guangzhou, with the first units due in late May.
