Volkswagen says it has no plan on buying Isuzu


Volkswagen said that it has no plans on making a decision to take a stake in Isuzu Motors after a report by Manager Magazin said it was considering buying all or a part of the Japanese automaker.

The report said that Volkswagen and MAN, the German truck maker that is currently 30 percent owned by V-dub, also discussed the possibility of MAN taking a stake in Isuzu. MAN declined to comment on the report.

According to Reuters, Isuzu has a market cap of about $5.86 billion.
