Scion FR-S / FT-86 Concept

At the 2011 New York Auto Show next week, Scion will show a new concept vehicle, which is basically its version of the Toyota FT-86 Concept. This leads us to believe that the production Toyota rear-wheel-drive coupe will come to the United States as a Scion – pending if it’s received well at the New York Auto Show.

Toyota has confirmed that the FT-86 project is the latest stage in the development and the production model will arrive in 2012. Toyota also said that the production model will look very close to the FT-86 II Concept.
