Audi A3 e-tron

Audi has just recently released a brand new addition to the growing lineup of e-tron concepts: the A3 e-tron.

Aesthetically, the e-tron concept appears to be a normal A3 on the outside. It’s distinguished however by a revised instrument cluster, leather and Alcantara seats, a heated windshield and an optimized air conditioning system.

Power is provided by a 26.5 kWh lithium ion battery that sends power to an electric motor good for about 134hp and 199 lb-ft of torque. With these setup, the A3 e-tron can achieve 0-60 in 11.2 seconds with a top speed of 90 mph and can travel roughly 87 miles on a single charge. Once depleted, it takes about nine hours to charge with a standard European householf 230V outlet and only four hours on a 400V rapid charger.
