BMW M3 GTS Sedan Concept

Earlier this week, we reported on something called the BMW M3 Lightweight Concept, saying that the model provides a hint at the next-generation BMW M3 CSL lightweight monster. We now have more details on this new concept M3 sedan. Apparently, the model is a sedan M3 inspired by last year’s powerful BMW M3 GTS Coupe.

Revealed last week at an exclusive M event in Munich, the M3 GTS Sedan Concept is being described as something between an M3 and the M3 GTS that is powered by a more powerful version of the 414 4.0L V8 in the standard M3 rather than the 444-hp 4.4L found in the M3 GTS Coupe.

The BMW M3 GTS Sedan Concept features 19-inch alloy wheels, big brakes from the GTS Coupe, a deck-lid spoiler and a new front splitter. Reports say that the model also gets a firmer suspension and lighter construction.

Whatever it is, BMW promises to provide more details at the M Festival at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring later this year. Stay tuned.
