Just before the month of March wrapped up, Jaguar surprised us with ‘spy photos’ 2012 Jaguar XF fitted with a new 2.2L turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine. Well, a pictures showing the new 2012 Jaguar XF has now been leaked on the Internet giving us a nice view of what the sedan will look like from the front.

The new 2.2L turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine produces 187-hp and peak torque of 332 lb-ft. Mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, the diesel-powered 2012 XF will go from 0 to 62 mph in 8.5 seconds with a top speed of 140 mph. Fuel-economy wise, the diesel  2.2L 4-cylinder allows the 2012 XF to average a fuel-economy of 43.5 mpg.

No word on whether the engine will be offered here in the United States.

The 2012 Jaguar XF will make its debut at the 2011 New York Auto Show and the 2011 Shanghai Motor Show

    I didn’t like the 2012 design. It is more or less the same. for 2012 customers were expecting a redesigning. The features are exceptionally good.
