Just before the month of March wrapped up, Jaguar surprised us with ‘spy photos’ 2012 Jaguar XF fitted with a new 2.2L turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine. Well, a pictures showing the new 2012 Jaguar XF has now been leaked on the Internet giving us a nice view of what the sedan will look like from the front.

The new 2.2L turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine produces 187-hp and peak torque of 332 lb-ft. Mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, the diesel-powered 2012 XF will go from 0 to 62 mph in 8.5 seconds with a top speed of 140 mph. Fuel-economy wise, the diesel  2.2L 4-cylinder allows the 2012 XF to average a fuel-economy of 43.5 mpg.

No word on whether the engine will be offered here in the United States.
