What you’re looking at here is being called ‘the most exclusive book in the world’ and it is by far also one of the most expensive books in the world. Called ‘The Official Ferrari Opus,’ publisher Kraken Opus says diamond-studded copies of the back may sell for $275,000 or more each.

Offered in several layers of exclusivity, ‘The Official Ferrari Opus’ comes in:

  • The Enzo edition, which is named after Ferrari’s founder and limited to 400 copies, each priced at $37,500. This edition of the book features red leatherbound Enzo edition and comes in a carbon-fiber case and is “personally signed by all living Ferrari world champions on an individually numbered, silver-foiled signature sheet.
  • The Cavallino Rampante edition is limited to 500 copies and will be personally signed by “Ferrari greats, past and present.” Prices start at $7,000.
  • The Classic Edition is limited to 4,100 copies with prices starting at $4,100. It is signed by the current Ferrari Formula One drivers Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso.
  • The Enzo Diamante Edition will be limited to 400 copies and features a Prancing Horse logo adorned with 30 diamonds. Each buyer of this edition is entered into a drawing for a replica of the Formula One racecar driven by Michael Schumacher. In the Diamante Edition, all 400 books are 852 pages long and measure 19.6 square inches. They are printed on heavy-duty paper, containing 200,000 words of text, 2,000 photos and information on every Ferrari road car and racecar, as well as on every professional driver to race for the company since 1947. The publisher says that only one edition will be made available in any one country.
