The Goat Herder: Lamborghini Gallardo replacement to be called Cabrera

Goat Herder – that’s the name that the successor of the Lamborghini Gallardo is expected to carry when translated into English. The official badge on the car will be the Lamborghini Cabrera (which means goat herder in Spanish and Catalan).

But that’s not what’s important here. According to reports, the successor to the Lamborghini Gallardo is expected to carry a supercharged V10 engine making some 592-hp – that’s 30 more than the outgoing Gallardo Superleggera, which produced 562-hp from its 5.2L V10.

The new Lamborghini Cabrera will also make use of lightweight carbon fiber reinforced plastic with a new monocoque chassis.
