Nissan Altima sales crown it best-selling sedan in America in March
The Nissan Altima hasn’t ever really hit the top sales figures of the Honda Accord or the Toyota Camry when it comes to mid-size sedan wars…until last month.
Nissan said that it sold a total of 32,289 units in March, making become the best-selling sedan in America, the first time the model has ever achieved this distinction.
Overall, Nissan said North American sales came in at 121,141 units versus 95,468 units a year earlier, an increase of 26.9 percent. The Japanese automaker also reported a record U.S. market share of 9.7 percent in March – the highest share ever achieved in any month in the company’s history.
Congratulations to Nissan and the Altima.
