Rumor: Jeep’s CEO testing HEMI powered Jeep Wrangler
According to some random rumors flying around today, Chrysler Group is planning a HEMI 392-hp powered version of the legendary Jeep Wrangler.
Powering the high-performance Jeep Wrangler will be Chrysler’s 6.4L 392 HEMI V8 making 470-hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Sounds pretty interesting seeing as no current production Wrangler is offered with a V8.

Sources say the HEMI powered Jeep Wrangler was built for Michael Manley, Jeep’s current president and CEO and was assembled by American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) in Montana, an aftermarket Jeep firm. Insiders say that the model was built for executive evaluation, which means while nothing is final as of yet, we may see a production model in the future.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
