BMW M3 Tiger Matte Edition is only for China

To celebrate the 25th anniversary birth of the legendary BMW M3, the German company introduced limited-versions of the model around the world. One of the most popular anniversary versions of the M3 was the 2011 BMW Frozen Gray M3 Coupe, which sold out in 12 minutes.

Following that, BMW released a red Tiger M3 in China and Competition Fire Orange in Japan.

The limited BMW M3 Tiger Edition in China also became popular as an instant sell out. With that type of popularity, BMW decided to introduce a Matte Edition BMW M3 Tiger for the Chinese market. The BMW M3 Tiger Matte Edition features matte-black exterior, 19-inch high-gloss alloy wheels, black chrome side air intakes and exhaust pipes, red brake calipers, black carbon fiber interior trim with red stitching on the front, rear seats and door arm rests.

Power still comes from a 4.0L V8 engine making 420-hp allowing the BMW m3 Tiger Matte Edition to go from 0 to 62 mph in 4.7 seconds.
