Ford sues Nissan over Brazilian commercial that says it charges to much for the Focus

FoMoCo’s Brazilian unit has filed a criminal lawsuit against the local management of Nissan for airing a TV commercial that says that the United States automaker charges customers too much for hatchback models.
The commercial shows two wrappers dressed has Ford engineers flaunting money that they apparently pocketed by overpricing the hatchback Focus. A silver Focus lies in the background of the commercial, while bikini-clad models dance and sip champagne.
The commercial was withdrawn from national TV on March 3.
The lawsuit was filed at a regional police department in Sao Jose dos Pinhais, in southern Parana state. Police Chief Osman Feijoo has agreed to file charges against Nissan.
