Yes, Porsche is really trying to pitch its 911 and Cayman as an everyday car – we’re a bit surprised as well. The only every day Porsche models that come to our minds are the Porsche Panamera 4 and the Porsche Cayenne.
The theme behind the new ad campaign is: “Porsche. A car designed with a singular purpose, yet somehow it manages to be so much more. Porsche. Engineered for Magic. Every day.”
Of course, it doesn’t stop there. Porsche has also launched an website called Porsche Every Day (http://www.porscheeveryday.com) where owners will share videos and stories about how they use their Porsche everyday.
