The Pagani Huayra is one advanced supercar. Power for the Pagani Huayra comes from a Mercedes-Benz AMG 6.0L twin-turbo V12 making 700-hp, which gives the car capability of hitting a top speed of 230 mph.
Once you’re traveling at 230 mph, you’ll be going faster than the speed of a commercial airliner before it takes off. At that point you’ll need flaps to keep the car stable and from taking off. To assist with that, the Pagani Huayra has four control flaps on the car’s corners that rise and fall in time to keep the Huayra grounded at such high speeds.
Prices for the Pagani Huayra start at $1.35 million and only 20 units will be made in 2011.
