Once you’re traveling at 230 mph, you’ll be going faster than the speed of a commercial airliner before it takes off. At that point you’ll need flaps to keep the car stable and from taking off. To assist with that, the Pagani Huayra has four control flaps on the car’s corners that rise and fall in time to keep the Huayra grounded at such high speeds.
