Not convinced that the economy is turning around? Well, here is another possible sign – Chevrolet Corvette sales are moving on upwards. Sales of the Chevrolet Corvette increased 13 percent in January and February when compared to the same months in 2009.
General Motors ended up selling 955 Chevrolet Corvette units during the two-month period.
That’s far better than the past couple of years for the Corvette. The model sold 36,518 units in 2006 at an average of 3,000 units a month. In 2010, Corvette ended the year with just 12,624 units sold, about 1,000 a month.
For us that means GM really needs to push the next-generation Corvette.
