We briefly heard somewhere that Bentley will be launching a special-edition Continental Supersports at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. While that may just be a rumor for now, the luxury car brand confirmed today that it has teamed up with its leather partner Ettinger to produce a range of personal accessories that will be launched at the show in Geneva.
The accessories are inspired by the Beluga and Hotspur interior trim colors of the Bentley Continental Supersports. They include black and red leather (with contrast stitching) keyrings Apple iPad, iPhone and Blackberry cases.
Founded by Gerry Ettinger more than 70 years ago, the company is still family owned and run by his elder son, Robert Ettinger. It is one of the few British luxury leather goods companies still manufacturing in the UK.
Refresher: Power for the Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible comes from a 6.0L W12 twin-turbocharged engine producing 621-hp with a maximum torque of 590 lb-ft. Mated to ZF 6-speed Quickshift automatic gearbox, the Continental Supersports Convertible goes from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph. The Continental Supersports Convertible is flex-fuel capable, meaning it can run on either gasoline or E85 ethanol.
