Volkswagen Italdesign Giugiaro Hatchback Concept

At the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, Volkswagen has confirmed that it will display a total of 7 concepts. At the time of confirmation, Volkswagen said that the concepts will range from various Volkswagen Group brands including Seat, Skoda, Audi and Volkswagen. Design head Walter de’ Silva said that Italdesign Giugiaro, which the German automaker recently purchased last spring, will also show two concept vehicles… and here they are.

We’re not sure exactly what the name of these two concepts are or what they are about since they were leaked earlier this morning. We’ll be sure to update you with all the details as soon as we get them. For now, it seems like one is a hatchback concepts and the other is another iteration of the Volkswagen Up! lineup.

Volkswagen owns a 90.1 percent stake in Italdesign Giugiaro, including the brand name rights and patents.
