The last major change to the A3 took place in 2008 – well, Audi is now ready for 2011 and has planed an “attractive technological concept” car based on the next-generation A3 that will make its debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

Audi says that the new A3 Concept will be in the shape of a four-door-coupe and provides a glimpse into future variants of the A3 family.

“The sporty yet elegant design of the Audi A3 concept integrates the single-frame grille with its tapered upper corners and headlights with the latest generation of LED technology,” Audi said. “The low, flowing roof dome and a coupe-like, low C pillar are among the defining features of the side view.”

What’s more interesting is that power for the Audi A3 Concept at Geneva will come from a 5-cylinder turbocharged engine making 408-hp. Power is sent to the wheels through a 7-speed S tronic transmission and permanent quattro all-wheel drive.
