Pagani announces U.S. market entrance with the new Huayra

Here’s some exciting supercar news – Pagani announced today that it will officially enter the United States market for the first time with the release of new Pagani Huayra. Pagani¬†will begin selling the Huayra in the U.S. through a dealer network beginning in 2011.

“The U.S. arrival of its high-styled Huayra allows stateside enthusiasts the opportunity to obtain a Pagani automobile in the U.S. for the first time, and bolsters Pagani as a major player in the world’s largest automotive market,” Pagani said in a statement.

Refresher: The Pagani Huayra is powered by a Mercedes-Benz AMG 6.0L twin-turbo V12 engine making 700-hp with a maximum torque of 740 lb-ft. Mated to a 7-speed sequential cross transmission with AMT robotic system driving programs, the 2,970 pound Huayra is capable of hitting a top speed of 230 mph.
