Video: Remote Control BMW 1-Series seems like a lot of fun
Two young blokes working in conjunction with Nokia Asia decided to take a BMW 1-series and turn it into one of the largest remote control cars ever.
The two men took a Nokia C7 Symbian powered smartphone as the controller, and programmed it to drive all of the electronics on the 1-Series. The entire system software developed for this project was coded in about 20 days…well, blimey. Once tests were conducted to make sure the controls worked properly, the system was then setup and recorded in a video.
Instead of describing the controls, which seem rather simple, have a look at the YouTube video. Nokia also promises that no tricks or special effects were used.
