Now that the Super Blow XLV and all of its commercials have passed, it’s time to take a look at which commercials faired the best during the game. While many recall the Chrysler ‘Born of Fire’ featuring Eminem and Volkswagen’s Darth Vader ad being the two best automotive commercials during the game, Chevrolet ended up reaching the most viewers.
According to The Nielsen Company, Chevrolet’s Camaro Miss Evelyn commercial was watched by the most viewers totaling an estimated 119,628,000. It beat the previous record held by a Doritos commercial from 2010 with 116,231,920 viewers.
The Miss Evelyn Camaro commercial was followed by the Chevrolet Cruze commercial with viewers totaling 119,333,000 viewers.
Nielsen also said that Volkswagen’s ‘Little Darth Vader starts car’ earned a likeability ranking almost twice that of an average Super Bowl spot.
