2011 Bentley Continental GT

There is a lot of anticipation in the automotive industry for Bentley’s new V8 powerplant. Latest reports suggest that the new Bentley V8 will come in two different variants including one with a single turbo and one that is twin-turbocharged.

Insiders at Bentley say that the new V8 unit will be used in the Continental GT for the first time and will be offered with 415-hp in a single turbo version and 555-hp in a twin-turbocharged version.

It has been previously reported that the Continental GT’s new V8 will be mated to a dual-clutch transmission from Audi, known as the S Tronic.

All we know is Bentley really needs to hurry up with this thing.
