Audi A3 covered in 15 cm thick layer of ice

The Northeast part of United States is probably suffering one of the worst winters they’ve seen years. Besides seeing drivers spinning out of control on snowy/icy roads, once in a while you’ll come across something that will totally blow your mind.

Here is an owner of an Audi A3 in Manhattan, who found his car covered under a 15 cm thick layer of ice after a water main broke and sprayed water all over his car. Sub-zero temperatures assisted in this work of art.

How did the owner deice his A3? With a hammer and chisel – we’re not sure if that was a very good idea.

Check out the video after the jump.

3 options: Take a pic and tell work you are not coming, tell work you will be late while pouring hot water onto your car (possible to shatter glass!), or take a Taxi. Hmmmm…wonder how the molding will hold up afterwards? Sucks either way…lol.
