Alfa Romeo 4C GTA Concept teased prior to Geneva debut

Alfa Romeo 4C

A smaller 8C Competizione? We’ve heard of it before and now Alfa Romeo is confirming it with a teaser image of the upcoming 4C GTA Concept, which will debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

While we don’t have any details on the vehicle, the Alfa Romeo 4C GTA Concept is expected to be based on the KTM X-Bow and will be an affordable successor to the 8C Competizione.

Power is expected to come from a 1.8L 4-cylinder TBI 1750 turbocharged MutltiAir engine making 261-hp. Since that isn’t as powerful as the 450-hp V8 from the 8C Competizione, the move could point at the fact that Alfa is considering the concept for production.

The model could take major design influences from the Pininfarina Alfa Romeo 2uettottanta Concept, which debuted at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show.
