Saab

And now we take a break from everyday fun news to bring you some boring recall news. Saab has announced that it is recalling 4,400 units of the 2010 and 2011 model year 9-3 sedans that were built between June and October of 2010. The recall is being conducted to fix fuel pumps that cold seize and cause the engine to stall. Saab said some of the fuel pumps may have had components with incorrect specifications.

The automaker said that no accidents or injuries were reported due to the issue and that dealers will replace the defective fuel pumps free of charge.

Saab will start notifying owners around Feb. 18. If you’re a concerned owner, you can call Saab at (800) 955-9007.
