At the 2011 Geneva Motor Show in March, Fiat SpA’s Lancia brand will unveil bunch of new cars including the much anticipated Ypsilon subcompact. According to Chrysler/Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne, Lancia will also unveil a rebadged version of the Chrysler 200 in Europe, possibly called the Flavia.
“The new Chrysler 200 will come – cabriolet included – to Europe as a Lancia, and Flavia is a very good hint as its possible name,” Marchionne said at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show.
Lancia will also be debuting a rebadged version of the new 2011 Chrysler 300 sedan, called the Thema – and a Lancia version of the Chrysler Voyager.
Refresher: Power for the 2011 Chrysler 200 comes from a 2.4L in-line 4-cylinder World Gas Engine making 173-hp and 166 lb-ft of torque mated to a 4 or 6-speed automatic transmission. It is also offered with a Pentastar V6 engine that produces 283-hp and 260 lb-ft that will be mated standard to a 6-speed automatic. Prices start at $19,995.
