According to a short snippet in CARandDRIVER, the automaker has just registered the SQ5 and RSQ5 nameplates. No word on what the powerplants on each Q5 will be but it’s definitely got our attention.
At the 2009 Worthersee show in Austria, Audi unveiled the Q5 Custom Concept, which is powered by a 3.0 TFSI V6 was supercharged to pump out a total of 408-hp with a peak torque of 369 lb-ft. Mated to a 7-speed S-tronic automatic transmission, the Q5 Custom Concept ran from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph.
